ATTENTION!

In honor of changing my shop name (more like combining) I have decided not to use the blog name anymore. I have already started to post on my new blog - Capricioustraveler ! Come check it out.

Getting organized

Today i spent a few hours in my "office" (More like a steam room closet) getting more organized. When i get in these moods i get so nit picky getting everything just right that i don't accomplish very much. But today in my jewelry corner i think i made some progress. My mom found this amazing apothecary drawer box at a garage sale the other day! She paid like 4 or 5 dollars tops, and i found this exact thing at an antique mall afterward for $87! But I'm keepin' it for myself



















I also have been on the prowl for some of these printers drawers. Perfect storage for my jewelry, i can see what i have without boxes of baggies. I am in love! My dream someday is to have a room like lulu frost in this nylon video..

Also, an update for the earlier post about my clothing shop. I have decided that i am going to do a trial run with listing clothing on Capricious Traveler. I listed some new goods tonight, and i will list more tomorrow. Come see what you think!

season of change

I am very strongly considering changing my clothing shop name (vintagerevolver) I have had this name since i started selling on ebay around 3 years ago. I don't feel like it really fits the personality of the store anymore. I sell very different styles than i did when i started with that name. I think that people think of "revolver" as a gun. That wasnt my intention when i created the name. Revolver was meant as a revolving door, you know like the door to the past. I have been scouring and digging for ideas for a new name. So far nothing! I wish that i could just have my clothing and jewelry in the same store, because i still really love Capricioustraveler! But that would give me over 400 items in the store basically at all times. Word in the street is thats not such a great idea. But it is still on the table. I will keep everyone posted of any changes!

I am in love with all of these things! I have wanted a mirrored dresser for as long as i can remember.. I should have splurged when target had the limited edition collection a few years ago. Because it was way cheaper than any other i have seen. So sad! Here are some other lovely things id like to adorn my home with.

What a huge day! i am so tired, i have no idea why i am still awake. Flipping through fall runway photos.. I have never posted runway photos on my blog before. I do not usually like more than one or two items from random designers. My style as i mentioned a few days ago is eclectic and completely derived from my mood that day. But here are a few things that caught my eye. I will post more later..

Tory Burch-

My day- Today thankfully was better than yesterday. I am so tired! Lots of hunting today, first off i went to a few local antique malls that i haven't been to in a few months! Gathering lovely findings for jewelry. Then i came home and grabbed up my mom and headed to a major rummage sale for the puppies! I had so much housewares to carry around my arms are still like jelly, it took me around 30-45 minutes to get through there was so much. So lots of new housewares coming next week.

Tomorrow i am going to a city wide sale outside of STL. It will be an all day trip i live 2 hours from there. But i don't mind going, its where i was born and mostly raised. So it is very exciting! Word on the street is that at least 80 homes are having garage sales in the town. But for now im off to make some new jewels for the shop! Have a lovely weekend.

Just one of those days

What a day! I am sure everyone has those days where nothing seems to go as planned and it drives you up the wall... I am having that sort of day. After a number of happenings earlier, i finally sat down to work and i hear a buzzing beside me. I look over and its a wasp!! I do not like these creatures. The whole stinging thing freaks me out so much. So i jumped up from my work station and turned around to see where it went, and it was gone. I know it is hiding from me somewhere in this room. I am pinned to the other side of the room in fear of it crawling up my pant leg, or stinging me when i am not looking. But the little bugger has yet to pop out again...(im still waiting)

Here are some new headbands that i was planning to list tonight until i was rudely interupted. So how about a teaser- All handcrafted (aside from the headband its self) by yours truely. I really love these, and i hope you do too! These will be listed in my jewelry shop.
