I think you have quite possibly done it again! I can not wait to see this movie. Looks like it doesn't come out until September? But i will be there when it does! She is just so cute like a cupcake with sprinkles on my birthday.

Today was a much better garage sale day. I hit up a few estate sales, and i wasn't let down! I picked up 3 40's dresses seen below...
These will hit the store mid week.

Also, this super cute vintage salt and pepper set. I picked up a set of vintage table napkins that should be in the shop tomorrow.

A little bit..

I was featured on the front page this morning...

Partly cut off the bottom row, i didn't catch it till after the fact. My screen wasn't big enough to get the entire treasury. Sorry last line... I got up early this morning to go garage saling and there was NOTHING! I couldn't believe it. June and no garage sales. I picked up a paper and there were like 5 in the entire city. Granite i dont live in a huge city but none the less. So instead of that im heading out to some antique shops, do a little paroozing on this finely hot afternoon. More later.. have a great weekend!

What a day!

I feel to be a proper (hmm..) blogger i should acknowledge the happenings of the day. I am sure everyone knows by now that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson have passed.. I was never a Jackson fan, but im watching the quickly thrown together tribute to him on mtv. He was a very talented person, but he never much caught my interest. What makes it even more crazy is that Farrah fawcett died this morning also. Batteling for a while with cancer, sadly she passed. Such a beautiful woman. I have been reading blogs throughout the day with beautiful photos of her. What a lovely woman..

Today was a success

Today i went shopping in a town about 45 minutes from here. I haven't been there since January or before. But it was a complete success! I found some really amazing dresses (nearly only dresses..kinda strange) The first shop i went to i found 3 (in worthy condition) of the same style dress seen below...Now from my experience this isn't normal. In my years i have passed a few similar items but never in the same place in this amount. From the same woman i am sure! She must have really loved the style. Then the next shop had an entire rack of 60s drop waist dresses! All the same size/style but different prints. I couldn't believe it, twice in one day this happened to me. But only 4 were in buying condition. (see above photo)I also purchased two beautiful condition velvet dresses, but i will not be listing these beauties until the fall. Below are some of the others i found. This pretty cream number is for the shop this fall also.This amazing kelly green dress is a saks fifth avenue, amazing condition! Sometimes..

.... it is very hard to part with things. Usually i happily find new homes for my lovely items. But sometimes i just wish i had space to keep things. But lucky for my buyers i have no space for these three early 60s floral prints in my home. Currently for sale in my housewares shop.

Its Monday..if you hadn't noticed. Mondays for me mean packages and usually a bit of photography. But last night i added a few new lovely items to my shops, and again this morning. Lots of new things, and lovely not so new things!
