New treasures!

I thought i would share a few of my latest treasures. Although these i will not be getting rid of anytime soon.. I picked up these super cute fabric flowers at the goodwill last week. I cant get over how precious they are! Today when i was shopping i ran across this set of vintage tables, in lovely distressed condition. I have already found a new place for them in my bedroom. My clock doesn't really match my decor...too bad they don't make vintage inspired ipod docks.

I have had a small stash of vintage lingerie hanging around my stock for a while now. So i decided i would put some in the shop. Finally

...i have listed some new items! I feel like I'm finally getting back on track. Everything from the live show has been put in its place. Even more organized than before so that's always good. I listed some new clothing, jewelry, and housewares tonight. More to come this weekend. Here is a taste of whats new. I am looking forward to more garage sales tomorrow i like summer weekends!

Feathers

I think this weekend i found the most perfect bracelet ever! I can not believe i am parting with it..
... silver tone feather bangle. It is in MINT! condition too.. this will be in the shop tomorrow.
In the mean time..what do you think this is? I purchased it this weekend and i just cant figure it out. The nose makes me think its a bird, but the side seems like a tail of a fox..?

Im alive..

I am back from the gypsy caravan (the market where my booth was). I can honestly not believe how exhausted i am! I got back in town late last night and since our trailer wasn't closed we had to unload it before we could sleep. The customers were so fun and friendly, its really great to see peoples reactions to my booth and items. I am taking advantage of the fact that my inventory is uprooted to do some spring cleaning and arranging. But a lot of items will be coming hopefully starting tomorrow. Stay tuned for photos and shop updates.

The garage of goodness

Of course today i went garage saling. After all it was a sunny summer day why wouldn't i! A little back story for today's post starts here...
Last year i went to a subdivision sale near my house... and i stumbled on this woman whose garage was FULL of jewelry, floor to ceiling boxes shelves and containers of vintage jewelry. When i was checking out she was telling me why she had all of this great stuff. Turns out her mother and aunt had owned a jewelry shop back in the day. And she had inherited all of the remains. Now even though this sounds purely amazing which it was.. there was still alot of "trash to treasure digging" involved. Alot of crummy left overs, and broken jewelry. But just as last year there was many diamonds in the rough. The prices were to die for too! So here in the photos below are just some of the items that i found this time around. To be re-created into items that will be for sale in my shop in early June. ( i changed the photos to black and white, adding some dramatic mystery ((and also my kitchen has horrible lighting and counter tops))

Pre memorial day sale!

I decided since i will be out of town with my shop in tow on memorial day, that i would have a pre sale. So in all three shops until Saturday i am having a sale. All items are on sale!

The new bohemian

I am still running around like a chicken, with 6 days to go till the caravan! But as i promised sometime last week here are some things i am loving right now. Anthropologie's latest collection of "the new bohemian" is just perfect. If i only had 1500 dollars to buy it all up...ah well for now i dream. Anthropologie.com

I haven't posted in a while. I have a really good reason this time! On memorial day i will be selling at a booth at the St. Louis gypsy caravan. I have only sold live one other time, and this space is 3 times the size. Last years caravan had 25,000 buyers! So needless to say i have been very busy! If you live in the area come by and grab some great vintage deals. Here is a little of what i have been working on. I will be selling some handmade/reconstructed vintage items in the booth also. (some of these are currently in the shop) I am thinking of some new things to add to the shop, so what you see may be coming in June.
